Mega Group Online obtains information through sources which we believe are reliable; however, we are unable to give any declarations that these sources are complete or without error. Mega Group Online warrants that work will be conducted competently in accordance with relevant professional standards, but no warrant is made that information will be merchantable or fit for a particular purpose. By accessing and/or using the Site, the User acknowledges this disclaimer and agrees to be bound by the further terms and conditions set out below.
Information Gathering
Personally identifiable information is collected by Mega Group Online only when this information is willfully provided to us. Clients of Mega Group Online provide personal information regarding employees or prospective employees through our website when ordering a background screening service. Information may include, but is not limited to residential history and personal history such as name, date of birth, Social Security Number, Motor Vehicle Operator’s License Number, Professional License information, employment history, education and other credentials. Mega group online will use such information, as well as additional information provided by third-parties, in accordance with the service agreement and only for the completion of a background screening report ordered by the client. Mega Group Online reserves the right to employ other organizations or individuals as subcontractors, to perform functions on behalf of Mega Group Online. These organizations and individuals will not share information with any third party, other than Mega Group Online subcontractors or clients. Other information will be collected from the client in the form of contact information (such as names, address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers, employer(s), and/or job title), should you choose to provide it, in connection with your expression of interest for information on registering, making contact with, or interest in products and services with Mega Group Online. If you are a client providing financial information (such as credit card number and billing information), this information is used for internal purposes (such as establishment of an account, billing, fulfillment of orders, and customer service).
Non Personal Information
Non personal information may be collected through cookies or information provided to us by you (e.g. questions submitted to our support staff for the purposes of generating an FAQ list). This information will be used for internal purposes only – to better understand and improve usability and performance of MegaGroupOnline.com. We do not link your URL or IP address to any personal information unless you have logged into our web site with a Mega Group Online account login and password. Compliance
If you are an individual providing information over this website in connection with a background screen ordered by a client of Mega Group Online, who is your employer or prospective employer, Mega Group Online may use your personal information to conduct a background screen for that client. We will not use personal information to conduct a background screening investigation and create a report unless that client completes a certification required by the FCRA and any other applicable law. In this certification, the client certifies to Mega Group Online that it has a legally permissible purpose for ordering the background screen, and that it has, to the extent required by applicable law, obtained your informed consent to conduct the background screen.
Access to Website
Certain Mega Group Online web pages and online services have restricted access and are not open to the general public. Access to these areas requires a login code and password, which are provided by Mega Group Online. The use of information and services located in those web pages is governed by a written agreement between Mega Group Online and its clients. Information in these areas is collected only as it is provided voluntarily by clients and only for the purpose that the information is intended as described in the written agreement.

MEGA GROUP ONLINE’S SAFE HARBOR PRIVACY POLICY
Mega Group Online is dedicated to providing protection and maintaining confidentiality regarding our clients, guests to the Site, consumers, and information the provided to us. As a result, we have joined the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor program, which focuses on personal information collected from consumers who reside in the European Union. Mega Group Online complies with the seven Safe Harbor Privacy Principles described below.

NOTICE Mega Group Online is a consumer reporting agency that collects information, such as personal data, for the purpose of providing the necessary information needed to make screening decisions to its clients. We do not provide personal information to third parties without providing the consumer with the option to withhold such information. Individuals who wish to contact Mega Group online with any inquiries or complaints may contact support@megagrouponline.com. Mega Group Online conducts background screening in compliance with the FCRA and other applicable state and federal laws. Mega Group Online’s clients certify that they have obtained the consumer’s consent to release and share information requested with Mega Group Online for the purpose of conducting the background screen on the consumer. These clients also certify that they are requesting a background screening report for employment, tenant, or other purpose permitted under the FCRA and applicable law. Additionally, these clients certify that they will use the information provided by Mega Group Online only for legally permissible purposes documented on their User Agreement, as outlined in the FCRA and other applicable laws.
2. CHOICE Personal information provided to Mega Group Online by the client is certified, be the client, that such information is permissible for use in accordance with the FCRA. Consumers who do not want personal information released may choose to not sign the written con sent provided them by the client – their prospective or current employer. To revoke consent to Mega Group Online’s collection of personal information, the consumer can, at any time, send a written notification to the address provided them on the consent form signed by the consumer. The revocation of consent does not apply to information already collected or recorded, but rather to any additional information received after revocation of consent.
3. ONWARD TRANSFER (TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES) Mega Group Online reserves the right to employ additional individuals and organizations as subcontractors. We will only disclose the appropriate information required in order receive the service for which the subcontractor was employed. Mega Group Online will only transfer information to agents that provide the same level of privacy protection as is required by the relevant Safe Harbor Privacy Principles.
4. ACCESS All consumers are authorized to examine the information Mega Group Online has collected about them. Consumers may also request to correct, amend, or delete that information where it is inaccurate. A verification of the consumer’s identity will be conducted prior to release of any information.
5. SECURITY Mega Group Online strives to protect personal information it receives about consumers. We utilize numerous security precautions and online safeguards in an effort to secure data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Mega Group Online utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption for data transmitted to our Site over the internet. Additionally, we use strong password protection protocols and restrict access to certain areas of our Site to those who are not provided with passwords and logins. Servers containing information on consumers are store in a separate location, providing added security from local catastrophes. These servers, as well as our computers, are maintained with proper security measures.
6. DATA INTEGRITY Mega Group Online obtains information that is relevant for the purposes for which it is to be used. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the information collected is accurate, complete, and current. However, Mega Group Online is not responsible for the accuracy of information contained in public court records or records that originate from other consumer reporting agencies. 7. ENFORCEMENT Mega Group Online conducts certification of its compliance with the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles internally. Any complaints or comments about our privacy practices can be directed to support@megagrouponline.com. European Union consumers can direct their complaints or concerns to Mega Group Online or the European Union Data Protection Authorities. Mega Group Online will cooperate with the European Union Data Protection Authorities in an effort to investigate and resolve all complaints.
